Hey Reader! We don't usually do much for New Years Day, but there's something about a solid breakfast or brunch spread to start the year. It's a great reminder to nourish, slow down, and enjoy! And since citrus is finally getting good again, you can get a really good seasonal spread going at home, or with family + friends. 1. Citrus Salad with Mint, Fennel + AvocadoThis might be the most refreshing thing you eat all winter, and it's sooo pretty. Fennel and avocado are unexpected but add awesome texture and flavor.
2. Kale + Potato FrittataFrittatas are the best for breakfast and brunch! They're made in one pan, get you some morning veggies, and make excellent leftovers.
3. Blood Orange Maple Pecan Yogurt BowlsCitrus in yogurt bowls = underrated! It's so juicy, and with some maple-sweetened yogurt and crunchy toppings (like pecans or granola), you've got a winning combo.
4. Cranberry Orange Yogurt MuffinsOrange juice and zest add so much flavor to baked goods, like these muffins! Don't forget coarse sugar for sparkly, crunchy tops.
5. Jammy Eggs + Avocado ToastMy absolutely favorite combo: toasted sourdough, avocado mash, jammy eggs, microgreens, chili crisp, everything bagel seasoning. I could eat this for breakfast every day! Aaaand I kind of do :)
If I had to recommend ONE of these based on my mood right now... it'd be the citrus salad. It's just so JUICY! Sending cozy January energy, Tera

Hi Reader, I totally spied some early local spinach in our co-op last week! The fresh local veggies are sooo close in the midwest, and I can't wait.
